Volkswagon Beetle

The new VW Beetle has become a well know car once again. The original Beetle started production in Brazil of  1945 and ended in 1986. Production reached its peek in 1981 where production met a massive 20 million total. Only 1.2 million more were sold before it was discontinued. The new Beetle's production started in November of 1996. Every day about 400 new Beetles are made in Puebla, Mexico. The new Beetle even recieved the highest possible score in crash test ratings. The top speed of the old  Beetle is a slow but suitble 72 mph. The acceleration of the old Beetle  is the worst I've seen yet. (Granted the technology wasn't available at the time.) The 0 to 60 mph acceleration is 32.1 seconds. The cost for this little wonder is in the range of $15,900-$17,900.

"VW Beetle..........well I don't think i judjed this car very fairly.  The reason bein that i am a suckah for all the old VW's, so i was already thrilled when the Beetle made it's comeback in the 90's.  But anyway, I think this is a pretty fly car.  Not too many people have it, so it's still semi-origional to be cruisin around in one of these phat rides. It has an excellent improvement in speed and maybe even more so, safety.  I definately would not want to be in a collision in one of the older Beetles.
